Paoli Public Schools is seeking a dedicated, energetic, and highly effective Secondary Mathematics Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year.

The ideal candidate will be committed to student achievement, community transparency, and the implementation of research-based instructional frameworks. We are looking for an educator who is passionate about building strong relationships with students and colleagues while fostering a rigorous, supportive, and engaging learning environment.

Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesInstructional Excellence: Deliver high-quality mathematics instruction (Pre-Algebra through advanced coursework) aligned with Oklahoma Academic Standards.Framework Integration: Actively support and implement district-wide initiatives, including AVID (Advancement Via Individual Determination) methodologies and the WICOR (Writing, Inquiry, Collaboration, Organization, and Reading) instructional framework.

Data-Driven Instruction: Utilize assessment data (e.g., i-Ready) to differentiate instruction, provide targeted interventions, and monitor individual student growth.

Classroom Management: Establish a safe, organized, and positive classroom environment that encourages student participation and personal growth.

Professional Collaboration: Participate in professional learning communities, staff meetings, and professional development activities aimed at district improvement.

Community Engagement: Act as an ambassador for the district, maintaining professional communication with parents, staff, and the community to foster trust and student success. Administrative Duties: Maintain accurate grade books, lesson plans, and student records in accordance with state and district policy.

QualificationsEducation: Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field (Minimum).Certification: Valid Oklahoma Teaching Certification in Secondary Mathematics, or eligibility for Alternative Certification as approved by the Oklahoma State Department of Education.

Skills: Demonstrated knowledge of mathematics content and effective pedagogy. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively within a small-school environment. Commitment to student-centered learning
