| Description | New Lima Public Schools is accepting applications for the position of High School Principal for the 2026–2027 school year. New Lima is a small, rural school district located in Seminole County with a strong tradition of academic success, extracurricular excellence, and community support. The district is seeking an energetic, student-centered leader who will be an active and positive presence within the school and community. The High School Principal is responsible for providing instructional leadership and overseeing all aspects of the high school’s educational program, including student achievement, attendance, staff supervision, school climate, and daily operations. The principal will evaluate and support teachers and curriculum to promote continuous improvement and student learning. |
| Required Qualifications | Valid Oklahoma Principal Certification (required) Administrative experience preferred Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills |
| Preferred Qualifications | Provide strong instructional leadership that promotes student learning and achievement Evaluate and support teachers using effective instructional and curriculum practices Foster a positive school climate focused on student growth, engagement, and accountability Oversee daily operations, safety, and the overall learning environment of the high school Support and promote extracurricular and co-curricular programs Build positive relationships with students, staff, parents, and the broader community |
