Bethany High School is seeking a dedicated and passionate Special Education Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with students with diverse learning needs, helping them achieve their academic and personal goals. This full-time position requires a commitment to fostering an inclusive environment that promotes the growth and development of all students.

Responsibilities
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to meet the unique needs of each student.
- Collaborate with general education teachers, specialists, and support staff to ensure effective inclusion strategies.
- Assess and monitor student progress regularly, adjusting instructional strategies as needed.
- Provide direct instruction in academic subjects, social skills, and life skills to students with disabilities.
- Create a positive and supportive classroom environment that encourages student engagement and participation.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff regarding student progress and any concerns.
- Participate in IEP meetings, staff meetings, and professional development opportunities.
- Maintain accurate records of student performance and documentation related to special education services.
- Stay informed of current trends and best practices in special education and implement them in the classroom.
- Advocate for students’ needs and rights within the school community.
